Dr. Kelsey Able is a board‑certified gastroenterologist with special interests in colorectal cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, and Hepatitis C treatment. She graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Biology and a minor in Women’s Studies before earning both her master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She completed her internal medicine residency and served as Chief Resident at the University of Kansas Medical Center, followed by her gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Able has served on hospital medical ethics committees and is passionate about ethical medical practice. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, practicing yoga, being outdoors, and singing.
